for women
there’s a current that runs through a woman
On International Women’s Day I was reflecting on this current; this current that runs through a woman. And how it feels like a collective heartbeat, beating within all women.
And then I remembered, this is an important message for us, everyday.
As I sat by the lake recording voice notes to myself, I remembered that…
A current of mystery, of love, of connection, of wildness, of wisdom, of knowing.
I remembered that…
we are not alone.
we are never alone.
we are not meant to be alone.
The path of a woman is meant to be woven together with other women. It extends beyond the walls of our homes and our roles within our homes. It’s our true nature – our divine nature – to be interwoven with other women,
and with Spirit.
We are of the feminine, interwoven in a wave of connectivity and togetherness. We are not rigid, standing comfortably firm, consistent, singular, nor one dimensional.
May we all remember on International Women’s Day, and everyday.
It’s easy to forget in the flow of our days being humans.
We are not separate, we are not at odds with one another.
Rather, in this earthly plane we’re in, we’re here to be…
interconnected,
supported by each other,
loved by one another,
held by one another,
heard by one another,
seen by one another,
healed by one another
My hope for you and for us today and always is that we can tap into this infinite well of togetherness, to know we are not alone, we have each other, we are each other.
It’s in the collaboration, in the sharing, in the vulnerability, in the weave together that our true nature gets to be expressed.
My personal experience of this in friendship, and as a guide of women affirms this.
I encourage you today to in some small way, reach out to a woman who means a lot and witness this weave, this web, this interconnection, this beauty. Try a phone call or a voicenote – put more of your spirit into it than a text.
I will be doing this, too.
It’s such a gift we get to experience as women.
Our power lies within us and within the relationships and kindred friendships and connections we cultivate with other women; it’s our collective source of power.
May we claim our power and hold the container for other women to feel this power too, and to feel held, loved, resourced, and seen by us.
All love, all ways,
Christine
As a gift, please enjoy my Feminine Loop audio recording. It’s one of the short and simple ways I drop into a moment of connection and healing — how I connect with nature and my body first thing in the morning.
